IMPORTANT 2020 REUNION UPDATE!

The 2024 385th BGA REUNION will be held in conjunction with the 8 th Air Force Historical Society’s 50 th Annual Reunion, Wednesday, September 24 – Sunday September 29 in NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANNA. Daily admission to The National WWII Museum is available for one low price in conjunction the registration.

The 385 th BGA will be hosting a hospitality suite, an area where members and visitors can gather and share photos and memories. Beverages and light snacks are available along with bottled water to take on the excursions.

ADDITIONS/MODIFICATIONS TO THE WEBSITE

Oct. 17:  Completed correcting the Mission 224 Gross Ostheim database entries.  Added announcement/information on Virtual Reunion.

September. Started correcting the 521database entries that incorrectly identified the target of mission 224. The correct target name is Gross Ostheim. 
August: Continued maintenance of photo galleries content/presentation and updates/corrections to airman database entries.
July: Implemented Comment/Feedback form to solicit input from site visitors.Added Newsletters and other content. Updated Photo Galleries.. Implemented an SSL certificate to enable/require secure (https) access to the website.  Added detail to the Mission Reports. Initiated a multi-month effort to validate airman database entries and correct errors.
June: Up-versioned site software. Refreshed Home Page with color photos. Added 74 Newsletters.  Compressed all heretofore uncompressed Newsletter files, saving over 5 Gb of disk 
May: Updated Contacts information.  Added 15 Newsletters. Removed and/or revised some stale content.
